Terms & Conditions of Rental | Patna Car Booking

1. Driver Eligibility & Documents

The renter and any authorized additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age (25 for luxury and premium categories) and hold a valid, original Indian Driving Licence (LMV - Non-Transport or Transport) held for a minimum of 12 continuous months. Digital DigiLocker copies are accepted during Online Check-in, but the original physical licence must be produced at vehicle pickup.

2. Security Deposit & Pre-Authorization

A refundable security deposit ranging from ₹5,000 (hatchback) to ₹25,000 (luxury) is pre-authorized on the renter's credit or debit card at time of vehicle handover. See our Deposit Policy for release timelines (within 4 working days after final invoicing).

3. Permitted Geographic Limits & FASTag

Vehicles may be driven across all States and Union Territories of the Republic of India on public motorable roads. All vehicles are fitted with electronic FASTag RFID tags. Toll charges incurred during rental are automatically debited against the customer's payment method or settled upon return.

4. Prohibited Uses

Vehicles must not be used: (a) for hire or reward (sub-renting or unauthorized commercial taxi operation); (b) in motor rallies, races, or off-road mud circuits; (c) for carrying flammable, hazardous, or contraband substances prohibited under Indian Law; or (d) under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or intoxicating drugs.

5. Fuel Policy (Same-to-Same)

Vehicles are delivered with a documented fuel level (typically full) and must be returned with the same fuel level. If returned with less fuel, refuelling will be charged at current local market pump rate plus an administrative handling fee of ₹250 + 18% GST.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations made >48 hours prior to pickup receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made between 24–48 hours receive an 80% refund. Cancellations under 24 hours receive a 50% refund. No-shows are non-refundable.
